Mission: The Oconee Parks Foundation is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization promoting investment in park facilities and recreation programs.

OPF Current Initiatives:

  • Tree Replacement Program - Replacement and new planting of trees in the park system.
  • Picnic tables and a grill for the new OVP Senior Center pavilion. 
  • Heritage Park - Citizen-driven initiative to improve park facilities for equestrian, mountain bikers, and other general park users. 
  • Bogart Sports Complex - Replace both playgrounds located at the park, providing a more accessible, inclusive, creative, and fun play space.
