Over 10 hands-on, eye-opening sessions, you’ll meet the people who make the county tick—from emergency services to planning and zoning—and see what really goes on behind the scenes.

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be a resident or business owner in Oconee County or a student at a university or college in Oconee County
  • Must attend all sessions (a maximum of two excused absences); Orientation and Graduation are mandatory

Graduation Requirements

To graduate and be recognized as an official Oconee County 101 alum, you must: 

  • Attend at least 8 of the 10 sessions
  • Be present for both the Orientation session and Graduation
